Can I come to office hours without booking?
You can if a slot is free, but those who booked on the site go first. Booking takes less than a minute.
How do I ask about thesis supervision?
Book a Wednesday slot on the site and put your topic of interest in the form. Bring your results and a one-page proposal.
How early should I ask for a recommendation letter?
At least 3 weeks before the deadline. Send your CV, transcript and the list of places you're applying to.
Where do I find lecture notes and notices?
Notes for each course are published in the Courses section of this site the day after class. Class and exam notices go there too.
How soon will I get a reply to my email?
Usually within 2 working days. Putting the course name and your ID in the subject line helps.
Can students from other universities join the research?
